Degama Systems and Countermind have joined together to offer an intelligent workflow processing system that tracks the delivery process and integrates with existing back-end business systems to facilitate bi-directional information flow and centralize data aggregation.

With a layer of core functionalities built into both applications, the combined DTMS solution supports common tasks and repeatable processes out of the box, and can be tailored to meet the customers' needs, said Degama's sales manager Bob Ummat.

The system's hand-held units, designed for speed, ease of use, and scalability, use barcode scanners, RFID, GPS, and signature capture to help eliminate excessive paperwork and increase productivity, he said.

Along with real-time assigning, tracking, and delivery recording, the new applications enables pre- and post-trip inspections, load reconciliation, and inventory management.
