Stevens Transport has extended its exclusive agreement with Pegasus TransTech to use TRANSFLO Express truck stop scanning for an additional three years. The refrigerated carrier first implemented TRANSFLO Express trip-document delivery six years ago to provide same-day access to delivery documents.
Headquartered in Dallas TX, Stevens operates 2,000 power units and is in the top five of the nation’s refrigerated carriers. The firm employs more than 3,000 people.
According to Kathy Whitaker, Stevens’ accounting manager, TRANSFLO Express has allowed the company to pay drivers faster, bill shippers quickly and efficiently, and cut more than two days off the company’s days sales outstanding (DSO).
In addition, Stevens has been using TRANSFLO in-house imaging and workflow systems for almost 10 years to streamline back-office processes, eliminate paperwork, accelerate cash flow, and facilitate growth without adding employees.
With TRANSFLO Express, drivers simply hand their trip documents to a cashier for scanning at more than 500 truck stop locations nationwide, including all Pilot and Love’s travel centers. In seconds, the documents are delivered electronically to the fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing.
