J B Hunt plans Supply Chain University

In summer 2013, nearly 300 J B Hunt sales executives from across the United States attended the company’s supply chain forum on the University of Arkansas campus. Forum sessions were led by Walton College faculty and senior-level executives from J B Hunt covering topics ranging from sales to logistics outsourcing to global trends in supply chain management. The J B Hunt Supply Chain University will expand the forum’s scope and reach by developing an innovative learning curriculum to empower J B Hunt employees with current supply chain knowledge focused on helping them create additional value for customers. Curriculum content will range from the foundational principles of supply chain management to the most advanced topics in the industry, and delivery methods will be as varied as the content.
