FreshPoint Toronto implements SmartWash into its wash lines

FreshPoint Toronto, a fresh produce distributor owned by Sysco Corp, has implemented SmartWash Solutions into all of its wash lines. SmartWash is a wash system enhancer that increases the effectiveness of chlorine-based wash systems, mitigating the possibility of cross-contamination and subsequent outbreaks.
Dan Martin, president of FreshPoint Toronto, said, “We were looking to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace. We did our research and found that SmartWash was the safest system available.
