Kool Pak° forms Quality Assurance Department

Kool Pak° LLC has announced the development of the Kool Pak° Quality Assurance (QA) Department. This department acts as the force behind the company’s commitment to process controls, procedural documentation, and continuous improvement.
The QA Department will be headed by Katie Royce, director of quality assurance, who brings more than 10 years’ experience with Kool Pak° to the position.
Wade Palmer, chief financial officer, said, “Because of her tenure, Katie is familiar with most aspects of our business and is skilled in developing procedures that protect our customers’ freight. We expect her abilities will allow us to maintain our reputation as the frontrunner in the temperature-controlled LTL business.”
The QA Department also comprises Cheryl McCoy, claims manager; and Amanda Rocheleau, OSD specialist. They will also manage the company’s claims prevention program, Keep it Kool, which has a claims rate nearly 20 times lower than the industry average.
