The seventh member of ROFDA (Retailer Owned Food Distributors & Associates), Associated Grocers of Florida Inc, has chosen the ReposiTrak system to manage its food safety-related risk.
“We are squarely focused on ensuring we are in compliance with the new FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) regulations,” said Christopher Miller, president of Associated Grocers of Florida. “With ReposiTrak we’ll be able to decrease our risk by improving FSMA document compliance across our entire supplier base and respond to any record request well within the FDA’s 24-hour time limit.”
Powered by Park City Group’s technology, the ReposiTrak platform helps manage regulatory, financial, and brand risk associated with food safety in the global food supply chain. The platform consists of two systems. The Compliance Management system not only receives, stores, and shares documentation, but also manages compliance via dashboards and alerts for missing or expired documents. The Track and Trace system quickly identifies the supply chain path taken by a product in case of a product recall. It can reduce risk in the supply chain by identifying backward-chaining sources and forward-chaining recipients of products in near real time.
ReposiTrak Inc is a collaboration between Leavitt Partners and Park City Group. ReposiTrak provides food retailers and suppliers with a robust solution to help protect their brands and remain in compliance with FSMA regulations. This Internet-based solution enables all participants in the farm-to-table supply chain to handle records management and regulatory compliance. It also enables traceability as products and their ingredients move between trading partners. More information is available at www.repositrak.com.
