Gordon Food Service has acquired Halperns’ Steak and Seafood Company, based in Atlanta GA. Founded in 2005, Halperns’ has quickly grown to become a leading specialty distributor of meats and seafood.

Founded in 2005, Halperns’ has quickly grown to become a leading specialty distributor of meats and seafood. The company currently operates four production and distribution facilities, which are in Atlanta, Baltimore MD, Orlando FL, and Fort Lauderdale FL. With a strong and established presence in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic areas of the United States, the company serves a variety of independent and national chain customers across much of the East Coast and beyond.
“The purchase of Halperns’ will enhance our capabilities to provide our customers with the highest quality fresh meat and seafood products,” said Jim Gordon, chief executive officer of Gordon Food Service. “We are excited to welcome the Halperns’ team to Gordon Food Service.
