Interstate Distributor Co lets drivers maximize pay

Interstate Distributor Company recently announced a new pay package for its team drivers that will allow drivers to maximize their pay with a Pay for Performance Bonus. The new bonus will allow teams to earn up to an additional 6 cents per mile.
This pay package allows a team driver with six months of experience to achieve this through base rate (mileage + per diem) and a monthly bonus of up to 6 cents per mile. The mileage bonus is designed to be achievable and acknowledge the drivers who are working hard. In July 2014, Interstate had 65% of eligible drivers hit the bonus. For teams, that bonus starts at 18,000 miles and is maximized at 23,000 on the month.
“We came up with a solution for drivers that are committed to maximizing their mileage and pay with a Monthly Pay for Performance,” said Abbie Reed, Recruiting Division manager. “We allow the best drivers to run more miles and get paid more each month. Drivers who drive more will earn more at Interstate.”
