The United Fresh Produce Association has launched its 2015 Compensation Survey for the fresh produce industry. Data collected will be published in an expansive research report that will assist produce industry employers in understanding critical compensation benchmarks.
Conducted biannually since 2011, the survey process has been updated based on input from the United Fresh Finance & Business Management Council. It includes two new positions: Director of Social Responsibility and Accounting Manager. Further enhancements include expanded job descriptions and additional information on employee benefit practices.
This confidential survey, prepared by research firm Industry Insights, measures compensation and benefits from US- and Canadian-based produce companies. Results will be published later in spring 2015 in a detailed research report that will allow produce companies to directly compare salaries and benefits for full-time positions across multiple business sectors, as well as by ownership type (family, private, public), type of business, produce sales volume, number of full-time employees and geography.
