Ready Pac Foods recently announced the donation of 30,000 freshly made Bistro Salad Bowls—complete meal salads with protein—for those affected by the floods in Louisiana. The truckload donation will be distributed by American Red Cross Disaster Relief teams in the region in the coming weeks.
“We saw the suffering and knew we had to do something to lend a hand,” said Tony Sarsam, chief executive officer of Ready Pac Foods. “We hope that this care package will provide a little comfort during this difficult time, and we continue to send our thoughts and prayers to those affected by the devastating floods.”
Also included in the donation, Ready Pac Foods worked with Domino’s, a current business partner, to donate more than 7,000 Domino’s salads within the region through the American Red Cross.
Consumers, customers, and Ready Pac Foods associates who wish to help may text “LAFLOODS” to 90999 to donate $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief or access the American Red Cross website at www.redcross.org/.
