The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will hold a webinar September 20, 2018 from 1 to 1:45 pm Eastern to provide food importers with information regarding the new Voluntary Qualified Importer Program (VQIP).

VQIP is a voluntary, fee-based program that allows participating importers to import their food products to the United States with greater speed and predictability by avoiding unexpected delays at the point of entry.

For those interested in learning more about VQIP, registration for the webinar is now open. When registering, you will be given the opportunity to submit questions to be addressed by the panel of VQIP speakers.

Register for the VQIP webinar by clicking here.

If you are unable to join the webinar, but would like more information on the program, visit www.fda.gov to access the VQIP website.

For answers to questions about VQIP or the webinar, contact the VQIP Importer’s Help Desk by email at [email protected] or phone 301-796-8745.
