IFDA will honor top truck drivers with Hall of Fame

Aug. 13, 2018
Learn about IFDA's newly launched Truck Driver Hall of Fame, designed to honor service and safety.

The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) has launched the IFDA Truck Driver Hall of Fame. Since its inception, the group has worked tirelessly with its member companies to promote a culture of safety. In addition to the annual IFDA Truck Driving Championship, this program casts a spotlight on the industry’s top drivers for their outstanding records of service and safety.

“We’re proud to honor these hard-working men and women with this new program,” said Mark Allen, president and CEO of IFDA. “At IFDA, we understand that highly skilled, professional drivers are the heart of our industry, ensuring a safe and efficient food supply for professional kitchens across the country.”

The inaugural class will be honored during the IFDA Distribution Solutions Conference on the morning of October 30, 2018, at the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio TX.
