Sysco Corp’s Supplies on the Fly partners with Frieda’s Specialty Produce

Global foodservice distributor Sysco Corporation (NYSE: SYY) announced that its e-Commerce platform, Supplies on the Fly, has partnered with Frieda’s Specialty Produce to offer next-day delivery of specialty and exotic produce items to customers across the United States.

Exclusively for Sysco customers, Supplies on the Fly is an online ordering platform designed with convenience in mind, enabling foodservice operators to order the restaurant essentials they need, bill it to their Sysco invoice and get it delivered directly to their door.

With more than 170,000 products available online, Supplies on the Fly offers a comprehensive selection of foodservice essentials.

Through the partnership of Supplies on the Fly and Frieda’s Specialty Produce, customers have the opportunity to choose from more than 150 specialty and exotic produce items, thereby providing them the ability to elevate and distinguish their menus. Orders are delivered next-day in packaging developed specifically for this program, maintaining the freshness and quality of the product.

Founded by Dr Frieda Rapoport Caplan, the family company is owned and operated by Karen Caplan and Jackie Caplan Wiggins, in Orange County, California.
