Leonard’s one of fastest-growing Rochester companies
Leonard’s Express recently earned a spot on the 2023 Top 100 list of fastest-growing, privately owned companies in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region of New York.
“Congratulations to Leonard’s Express for being named a 2023 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 company,” Bob Duffy, Greater Rochester Chamber president and CEO, said in a news release. “The companies on this list are helping to keep the Greater Rochester region on the map as a hub of innovation in all sectors. Our list this year features a variety of companies in all industries and stages of life, showing the diverse assortment of companies that call our region home. This year, the companies on the Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 list employ tens of thousands of people and reported billions of dollars in revenue in the most recent fiscal year.
To be eligible for the Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 award, companies must be privately owned, headquartered in the nine-county Rochester region, and have earned at least $1 million in revenue in each of the three most recent fiscal years. The Top 100 rankings are calculated based upon revenue, considering both dollar and percentage growth.
“It’s an honor to see Leonard’s Express named to the Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 list for the third year in a row,” Leonard’s Express CEO Ken Johnson said. “The Leonard’s team has done an outstanding job this year of moving the business forward in spite of significant challenges that all commercial carriers are facing.
“I’m extremely proud of our employees. They deserve this recognition.”
The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce plans to reveal the 37th annual Top 100 rankings during an award ceremony Nov. 2 at the Floreano Riverside Convention Center in Rochester.
