DAVCO Technology LLC offers the Diesel Pro 243 all-in-one fuel filter, water separator, and fuel heater for medium-duty applications.
Eliminating unnecessary changes and maintenance, the Diesel Pro 243 has a clear cover that provides instant visual indication of filter life (the same filter can be used in the company’s Fuel Pro). It is biodiesel-compatible with B20.
Dry filter changes take just five minutes, and a check valve eliminates drainback during filter changes. Providing simple priming for easier starts and an easy-removal collar, this product can handle any diesel engine used in refrigeration applications with fuel flow rates up to 60 gph. Pro-Chek, which is required for refrigeration applications, eliminates air for ease of restarting after a filter change or out-of-fuel condition.
The base model of the Diesel Pro 243 is unheated. Electric pre-heater options include 12-volt DC and 120-volt AC. Other options include a Water-In-Fuel (WIF) sensor and EyeMax technology.
The Diesel Pro 243 functions like this:
•Fuel from the tank enters the fuel processor body.
•Large contaminants and “free” water are separated and remain in the body.
•Fuel rises into the clear cover area.
•Contaminants and emulsified water are captured by the filter media.
•Fuel level rises to maintain a fuel path through clean filter media (path of least resistance).
•Clean, water-free fuel exits the fuel processor to the engine fuel injection system.
