Aura Systems Inc (OTCBB: AUSI) was scheduled to receive the first container of all-electric transport refrigeration systems this past weekend.

Aura Systems Inc (OTCBB: AUSI) was scheduled to receive the first container of all-electric transport refrigeration systems this past weekend. The parties expect to completely sell out of these systems; additional containers will start to arrive in February. In addition, Zanotti of Italy ordered five AuraGen systems to be integrated into all-electric transport refrigeration systems for introduction into the European market.

Jointly with Zanotti East, Aura is conducting training classes for the all-electric transport refrigeration system for 35 dealers and installers on the US East Coast. The training began January 22 in Orlando FL and ran through January 30. Zanotti and Aura plan to have similar training programs in other parts of the nation in the near future.

Melvin Gagerman, Aura’s chief executive officer, said, “It took some time to integrate and fully test the AuraGen solution with transport refrigeration. We now have a remarkable state of the art solution that provides significant monthly savings to users and at the same time provides considerable reduction in emissions and fuel consumption.”
