Thermo King Corporation recently presented its 2020 North America Dealer of the Year award to Thermo King Amarillo.
The award was the culmination of the company’s annual Thermo King Americas dealer principal meeting held virtually for all dealers within the Americas, which includes Canada, North America and South America.
“Amarillo Thermo King is the epitome of resilience and dedication to customers,” said Karin De Bondt, president of Thermo King Americas. “The dealership has exponentially grown its service and performance levels, embracing opportunities that meet evolving customer needs and secure long-term success.”
The Texas-based dealership, which is owned by Krista Flowers Floyd, was honored with the top dealership award in front of fellow dealers and Thermo King management during a live virtual awards banquet and celebration held on Feb. 18.
“This award is a great honor, and recognition for our team,” said Brent Slaten, general manager of Amarillo Thermo King, which also received the 2020 Thermo King Western Region Dealership of the Year award. “It is especially significant in the fact that four years ago, we unexpectedly lost our owner, and visionary, Ross ‘JR’ Flowers.
“Yet through that difficult season, our team’s integrity, hard work and dedication to customer service has allowed us to continue building upon the legacy Ross left to us.”
