Pilot Flying J said it has now installed diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) fuel island pumps at 135 locations nationwide, representing more than 600 fueling lanes.
The company continues to add locations and expects to have more than 1,100 fuel lanes at 175 locations operational by Oct. 1. That number will climb to more than 1,800 fuel lanes and 300 locations by May 1, 2012, Pilot Flying J said.
“The convenience of our customers is always our top priority, and we’re proud to offer them this extensive network of DEF dispensers at Pilot Flying J locations nationwide,” said Mark Hazelwood, Pilot Flying J executive vice president. “More pumps, more locations and more savings will make life easier for drivers everywhere.”
At centers so equipped, DEF and fuel is available from a single pump, allowing drivers to swipe a card a single time to fill up on both fuel and DEF.
