FleetCor has announced that it has been awarded a long-term card processing contract by Chevron USA. Inc. Under terms of the agreement, the Atlanta-based company will own and operate Chevron’s branded commercial private-label fuel credit cards.

“FleetCor’s capabilities, management team and commitment to customer service were key factors in our selection process,” said Danny Roden, vp Chevron North American Marketing.

“Winning Chevron’s business highlights the strength of our card capabilities,” stated Ron Clark, FleetCor’s chairman & CEO.

FleetCor, The Global Fleet Card Company, serves more 650,000 business fleets and about 3.5-million cardholders in the U.S., Canada and Europe. The Chevron business is the third straight private-label contract it has been awarded.
