Driver-recruitment cost estimator software

MTS Driver Recruiters is offering free Driver Recruitment Cost Estimator software, allowing fleet operators to calculate all costs relating to driver recruitment, including labor hours for screening applicants and other outside costs.

An average of 100 respondents are needed to fill every open driver position, the company said, and the Cost Estimator software uses a fill-in-the-blank format to quantify all time and cost factors involved during the hiring process to identify areas where there is an opportunity for cost reduction.

“The software calculates the total cost per hire, and more importantly, the total cost per non-hire,” said Ken Walker of MTS Driver Recruiters. “We developed it for our own use, but now want to make it more readily available to the transportation industry.”
