McLeod Software has released the PowerBroker II software system, upgraded with over 100 new capability enhancements and a brokerage container module, the company said.

According to the company, PowerBroker II features improved workflow speed and access to real-time data, covering more loads more quickly using a new carrier search that consolidates up to seven search screens into one—comparing carriers by lane, carrier movement history, rates for each lane and showing all carriers with available tractors in the area.

The system also contains a redesigned carrier dispatch screen with additional command functions as well as single button connection to FMCSA-sponsored SAFER website for automatic access to safety reports, the company said.

The brokerage container module provides access to planning stage information including container and chassis numbers, steamship location, load port and pickup ready/vessel/sail dates, as well as dispatch, order confirmation and tracking functionality, McLeod said.
