More detailed information on containers is just one of the upgrades to FleetMind Solutions’ FleetMap fleet tracking solution for the waste and recycling industry. The enhancements increase the level of information granularity and capabilities for detailed route and activity monitoring.

“To run an effective waste disposal fleet, you need to know what’s going on for every route, vehicle and container in real-time,” said Martin Demers, CEO. “Our newest version of FleetMap provides the level of detail and back office capabilities required to give you complete visibility into your entire fleet – every stop of the way. FleetMapping is all about dramatically improving operational efficiencies, productivity, safety and customer service.”

The program tracks route information both on a map and in text format. It will monitor containers that have been services, missed or not yet serviced. Also, by clicking on a container, personnel can access the customer name and service time.

Additional functionality has been added, including the ability to view multiple items such as vehicle location, alarm locations, vehicle activities, containers and a breadcrumb trail, all on a single map for up to four routes at a time.

Container weight, size, service time and sequence; unplanned vehicle stops; a chronological text view of all vehicle-related activities such as logon, security inspection, unjustified stops and idling and speeding alarms; the display of pictures associated with a stop; and the ability to view the current position of vehicles are all additions to the software.
