The TruckPC onboard computer from DriverTech has integrated the CoPilot Truck navigation system in more than 5,000 units now being used by fleets, according to CoPilot developer ALK Technologies Inc.

CoPilot Truck is a Windows-based application that provides spoken and text turn-by-turn, truck-specific directions. It can also automatically recalculate truck routes based on dynamic factors such as traffic, construction and accidents, according to ALK.

TruckPC is an onboard computer running Windows XP and features a full-color, high-quality display. It also offers tri-mode communications, allow fleets to choose from among a variety of wireless communications options including WiFi, cellular and satellite networks.
