Central Hudson Gas & Electric to implement Chevin Fleet Solutions software

Nov. 21, 2014

Central Hudson Gas & Electric will implement web-based fleet management software from Chevin Fleet Solutions. The electric and gas utility provider for the Hudson Valley area of New York will use Chevin’s FleetWave system to manage its fleet of more than 900 pieces of equipment across its operating regions and offices.

FleetWave will ultimately become Central Hudson Gas & Electric’s enterprise fleet management information system, Chevin said, integrating with its enterprise financial platform as well as multiple fuel management platforms.

“We are really excited to work with Central Hudson Gas & Electric. Over the last few years, we’ve dramatically expanded our client base in the utility sector and look forward to working with the Central Hudson team to support their immediate and ongoing needs,” said Ron Katz, senior vice president-North American sales.  “The need to gain real-time visibility over operating costs and maximize equipment utilization are the key motivators behind Chevin’s recent growth in this area, and FleetWave is proving to be highly effective in helping fleets to meet these important objectives.”
