J. J. Keller adds log scanning feature to Encompass

J. J. Keller's Encompass system enables fleets to record and audit drivers’ record of duty status using scannable logs with a compatible scanning device.

The Encompass fleet management system with ELogs from J. J. Keller & Associates now enables fleets to record and audit drivers’ record of duty status using J. J. Keller scannable logs with a compatible scanning device, in addition to using ELogs and manual paper log entry with the system, the company announced.

“This is a one-of-a-kind solution for fleets that haven’t yet made the transition from paper logs to ELogs, and want a system that can make the transition with them,” said Tom Ditzler, senior manager of technology services at J. J. Keller. “Fleets can begin scanning paper logs and view robust Hours of Service compliance reporting in Encompass. And, when they’re ready, they can transition to J. J. Keller ELogs and not skip a beat. Paper log data and ELog data are all in one place.”
