Carrier Logistics Inc., a provider of freight management software for less-than-truckload fleets, recently announced that LTL carrier Accurate Transport is already realizing savings in several areas after using CLI FACTS for eight months.
“We replaced a TMS we’d been using for three years and chose CLI FACTS for its ability to provide us with visibility across our large and growing network,” said Jay Irons, director of strategic planning at Accurate Transport. “Additionally, CLI FACTS optimizes our operations by automating processes we were handling manually. Some of our partner carriers and competitors recommended FACTS for its features that are designed for LTL carriers, and we’ve been very pleased with the results and with CLI.”
CLI said that Accurate Transport already realized measurable results from FACTS, including:
- A reduction of as much as 50% in dispatch labor time and costs due to the automated capabilities of the FACTS terminal route optimization module
- A reduction of more than 10% in the number of trucks needed to handle a growing volume of loads through improved freight optimization processes
- An increase in 90th percentile service level agreement scores for on-time deliveries as a result of improved visibility into freight and assets across its operations
Driven by growth, Accurate Transport’s need to optimize operations is being met by the FACTS rate engine, dispatch, and FACTS map routing module, including the LOC-AI dispatch planning tool for identifying restrictions on routes and types of customer locations. Connectivity with trucks and drivers is enabled in FACTS by CLI’s integration with Accurate Transport’s mobile dispatch system. The CLI Dock Management system is also in use at company terminals to streamline cross-dock operations.

“From our initial conversations with CLI and throughout the transition, module configuration, data transfer, testing, and implementation of FACTS they were very professional,” Irons said. “CLI came with a plan, was always available to us, and had their staff on-site during the launch, allowing us to get up and running easily and to quickly realize the benefits of FACTS.”
Based in Carlstadt, New Jersey, and founded in 1997, Accurate Transport provides LTL service in 12 states from terminals in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Texas. The asset-based operation fields about 200 trucks, tractors, and trailers for linehaul and local service.
