Prime Distribution Services, An Ascent Global Logistics Company, announced it has finalized the implementation of cloud-based HighJump Enterprise Warehouse Management System (WMS).
"We are proud to have upgraded our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve the level of service we provide to clients," said William Vechiarella, president of Prime Distribution Services. "We have 2.5 million square feet of space that we operate with our own people and it's important to us that we invest in the best technology to ensure we help clients exceed their retail customers' expectations. By increasing our service levels, we allow our clients to focus solely on production without dedicating internal resources to distribution."
The utilization of the new HighJump WMS will provide Prime Distribution Services with a system to capture and monitor real-time inventory data. Customers can learn more about the HighJump WMS at Prime's upcoming Supplier Delivery Summit on Wednesday, Aug. 30 in Bentonville, AR.
"The customization and adaptability of the system is especially valuable for retail consolidation solution providers like ourselves because requirements vary between clients," said William Goodgion, president of Ascent Global Logistics. "As consumer expectations rise, that pressure falls onto the shoulders of distribution service providers. Best-of-breed technology enables us to step up the level of service we provide, fostering a true partnership with our customers. It is one of the ways we are innovating in order to stay ahead of the curve and help our customers continue to reach new heights of logistics excellence."
