Penske acquires truck dealerships in Canada

June 7, 2023
The acquisition of Transolutions Truck Centres will be the company's first foray into Manitoba and is projected to add $180 million in annualized revenue.

Penske Automotive Group has acquired Transolutions Truck Centres, a medium- and heavy-duty commercial trucks and buses retailer in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. With this acquisition, Premier Truck Group, Penske's wholly owned commercial truck subsidiary, expands its reach into Canada by establishing its first presence in Manitoba.

TSTC has five locations throughout the greater Winnipeg market, including three full-service dealerships and two parts and service centers. TSTC sells and services Freightliner and Western Star trucks and Thomas Built buses. It is the licensed dealer for SelecTrucks, Daimler Truck's used vehicle brand, for the entire territory of Manitoba.

"We are thrilled to expand our North American presence with the Freightliner, Western Star, and Thomas Built Bus brands. We look forward to continuing their legacy and welcome TSTC to the Premier Truck Group team." said Ron Long, Premier Truck Group president.
