ConocoPhillips announced that both its API CJ-4 and API CI-4 Plus diesel engine oils are compliant with Caterpillar's new Engine Crankcase Fluid (ECF) -2 and ECF-1-a specifications.
Developed for use in EPA-'07 or later engines equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF) and catalysts for exhaust aftertreatment, the CJ-4 oils are: Guardol ECT, Synthetic Blend 15W40; Fleet Supreme EC, 15W40; and Kendall Motor Oil Super-D X, Synthetic Blend 15W40.
