Stemco unveils toolkit for quick tire inflation system installation

Nov. 15, 2013

Stemco Intelligent Transportation Systems has released a new toolkit that it said will speed the installation of the Aeris tire inflation system.

The installation toolkit contains all of the tools needed for axle preparation, which can be the most difficult step in the installation process without the proper tools, Stemco said.

“The Aeris automatic tire inflation system can significantly increase trailer safety and help maximize fuel savings, and its low-maintenance design reduces the total cost of ownership,” said Bob Montgomery, vice president of Intelligent Transportation Systems for Stemco. “For fleets that want to capture these benefits on trailers they already own, this toolkit reduces the time necessary to drill an axle to less than a minute per hole, making it even easier to install the most technically advanced tire inflation system on the market, today.”
