Swift Transportation and WyoTech have partnered in a program that will provide qualified WyoTech graduates career placement opportunities with Swift.
Graduates of WyoTech’s Diesel Technology and Advanced Diesel Programs and Collision Refinishing Technology program will have the opportunity to interview for full-time positions including diesel mechanic, trailer mechanic and body technician with Swift. The truckload carrier utilizes WyoTech's quarterly career fairs for meeting with students, interviewing and hiring.
“We have been impressed with the skills, knowledge and professionalism of the WyoTech graduates,” said Phillip Mellor, human resources shop specialist at Swift Transportation. “We are thrilled to partner with WyoTech and hire their skilled graduates to work at Swift.”
