TODCO announces its ArmorPlate roll-up door is now available in two thicknesses – ¼” (7.5mm) and ½” (13mm).

TODCO announces its ArmorPlate roll-up door, consisting of steel skins bonded to a high density polyethylene composite core, is now available in two thicknesses – ¼” (7.5mm) and ½” (13mm). The new, thinner ArmorPlate roll-up door was developed in response to market demand for a durable, cost effective yet lighter weight door, according to the company.

“The TODCO ¼”ArmorPlate door panels incorporate automotive quality painted white steel skins inside and out for the durability to stand up to freight, frequent stops and unforgiving roadway conditions,” the company said. “Tongue and groove panel joints utilize vinyl joint seals to protect cargo from the elements. The polycomposite panel core is impervious to moisture.  Altogether, the ¼” ArmorPlate truck door is thinner, lighter and more weather resistant than a standard plywood door.”

ArmorPlate ¼” overhead doors are available with 1” or 2” track and roller set-up, complete with flush-mounted center and removable end hinges, and EZ Seal™ dual durometer PVC side seals.  Available options include TODCO SupeRollers and EverWare hardware as well as stainless steel rivets.
