Daimler Truck models’ loss of steering control
Daimler Truck North America is recalling certain 2025 Freightliner 108SD, 114SD, Business Class M2, Cascadia, and Western Star 47X vehicles. The tie rod in the front axle may contain ball studs that have been incorrectly heat-treated, which can cause them to break and result in tie rod failure. Tie rod failure can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash.
This recall potentially affects 3,421 vehicles. Dealers will replace the tie rod assembly. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 29. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 800-745-8000. DTNA's number for this recall is F1007.

Nissan Titan unsecured airbag control units
Nissan North America is recalling certain 2021 and 2024 Titan vehicles. The airbag control unit may be missing a spacer, which can allow the fastener to loosen and result in an unsecured ACU. An unsecured ACU can prevent or delay airbags from deploying as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
This recall potentially affects seven vehicles. Dealers will replace the ACU. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 19. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PD120.
Nissan Frontier missing headlight aim markings
Nissan North America is recalling certain 2024 Nissan Frontier vehicles. The right-side headlight assemblies may have missing or illegible headlight aim markings, which can result in improperly aimed headlights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Improperly aimed headlights can result in insufficient illumination of the road, decreasing the driver's visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
This recall potentially affects 1,119 vehicles. Dealers will inspect and replace the right-side headlight as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 20. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PD121.
