The new Mobi-EVS4500 and EVS3000 models are stronger, more durable, and easier to maneuver.

BendPak continues to improve its Mobi-EVS series of EV battery and powertrain lifting systems to enhance technician productivity and ergonomics when working with heavy EV battery packs, traditional powertrains, or other bulky vehicle components. According to the company,  the new Mobi-EVS4500 and EVS3000 models are stronger, more durable, and easier to maneuver.

“Since we introduced the first full-rise, battery-powered mobile EV battery lift table in 2021, we have never stopped refining our patent-pending design based on customer feedback, internal testing, and ongoing engineering analysis,” Sean Price, BendPak director of sales operations, said. “From obvious improvements like an all-new handle to those that aren’t as easily spotted, like using higher grades of steel in key components, our latest innovations make the EVS4500 and EVS3000 perfect for servicing electric cars, vans, and commercial trucks.”

Updates to the new Mobi-EVS models include lowering the center of gravity, redesigning the base frame and scissor assemblies, increasing use of high-tensile steel, widening the safety assembly, and increasing weld sizes throughout. BendPak engineers also improved the patent-pending tilt-deck table to make it even easier to adjust and to improve overall stability.

In addition, the new models provide enhanced mobility. A new, full-width, U-shaped push/pull handle provides greater control when moving the lift throughout the shop. The handle stows in the base when not needed. Upgraded easy-glide, multidirectional swivel casters allow the operator to move the table and change direction, and a new tri-caster locking pin improves straight-line travel.

A single person can control Mobi-EVS operation with the attached pendant controller. The lift platform, which measures about 43 x 63 inches,  rises more than 6 feet in 18 seconds with the  press of the button,. The Multi-Point Safety Lock system engages automatically while lifting and is readily disengaged by pushing a button on the pendant controller.

Multiple recessed anchoring locations on the platform surface accommodate a variety of modular fixtures, adapters, and accessories for versatility. Screw jacks provide easy roll, pitch, and yaw adjustments for alignment and leveling of EV batteries and other components.

The Mobi-EVS4500 has a rated lift capacity of 4,500 lb., enough to handle a wide range of EVs, from cars to commercial trucks. The Mobi-EVS3000 can lift up to 3,000 lb.
