Ex-Guard recently introduced the all-new FX and HX Series heavy-duty grille guards for Class 2-5 pickups.

Ex-Guard grille guards are designed to absorb the impact of a collision and distribute the force evenly, ensuring driver safety and reducing the risk of damage to the vehicle. According to the company, business owners and fleet managers have reduced front-end replacement part costs by 97% and towable accidents by 80%.

Ex-Guard's new grille guards protect a wide range of full-size and heavy-duty pickup trucks, including:

  • Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550
  • Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500HD, 3500HD
  • Ram 1500-3500

The new FX and HX Series grille guards feature 11-gauge high-tensile steel, intelligent design, and EVRCoat PVC coating that prevents rust from road wear and weather conditions. Further, the FX and HX Series are compatible with the ClearZone collision mitigation system. The ClearZone designs will work with adaptive cruise control and parking sensors.

“Ex-Guard has redefined durability and design for Class 8 semi-truck protection in North America for nearly 20 years. Now we’re bringing that same level of protection to heavy-duty pickup trucks and chassis,” Jeremy Drever, director of engineering for Ex-Guard, said. “It’s Class 8 protection for Class 2-5 vehicles.”

In addition, the company has plans to expand into other work vehicles, including Toyota trucks, Rivian vehicles, cargo vans, and full-size SUV models.
