Jan. 19, 2015

The America's Road Team program, founded by the American Trucking Associations (ATA) trade group in 1986, is a national public outreach effort led by truck drivers selected mainly by their safety records. The program is currently sponsored by Volvo Trucks and the company recently held a ceremony at its New River Valley manufacturing facility in Dublin, Va., to hand over the keys of a new 2015 model VNL 780 highway tractor that will pull a "mobile exhibit" that will visit schools, government buildings, and other locales across the country as part of the industry's outreach campaign.
