The 2025 FleetOwner 500: For-Hire list ranks the most prominent motor carrier and commercial fleet operations in the U.S. by total registered power units. Released in February, the FO500 saw many ranking shifts after a busy 2024 of carrier acquisitions, mergers, consolidations, and expansions.
In addition to ranking the largest for-hire fleet operations overall, FleetOwner breaks down these companies into categories based on equipment, cargo types, and industry segments. This media gallery focuses on agricultural fleets.

Agricultural trucking includes the transportation of harvested goods, livestock, farming equipment, and other farming materials. This type of trucking comes with unique challenges, especially when involving livestock. FMCSA has specific requirements and exemptions for fleets and drivers transporting agricultural cargo to ensure food safety, the transport of livestock, and the necessary flexibility for HOS.
Overall, this year’s top eight agricultural fleets are similar to last year’s. The same eight fleets are highlighted, with the final two spots flip-flopping. However, each fleet grew individually over the past year, either rising through the top 500 ranks and adding trucks or falling and losing trucks.
