The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently issued recall notices for commercial vehicles, including brands from Isuzu, Ford, Tesla, and more.

Owners of the affected vehicles should be contacted via U.S. mail over the next two months, but fleet and independent owners of these vehicles can contact the NHTSA Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit nhtsa.gov for more details. More information on each recall can be found below.

Chevrolet, Isuzu models’ axle stabilizer bracket may detach

Isuzu Motors is recalling certain 2022-2026 Isuzu FVR, 2023-2026 Chevrolet 7500XD, 2018-2026 Chevrolet 6500XD, and Isuzu FTR vehicles. The axle stabilizer bracket bolts may crack and break, allowing the bracket to detach from the vehicle. A detached axle stabilizer bracket can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 17,084 vehicles. The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 12. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is V2506.

Ford Econoline models’ inoperative defrosting and defogging system

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2026 Econoline vehicles. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system blower motor may fail, which can cause the defrosting and defogging system to become inoperative. An inoperative windshield defrosting and defogging system may decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 6,909 vehicles. Dealers will replace the HVAC blower motor assembly. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were expected to be mailed November 3. Once the final remedy is available, which is anticipated in February 2026, additional letters will be sent. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SB4.

Ford F-150 Lightning BEV models’ rear lightbar may be inoperative

Ford is recalling certain 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles previously repaired under recall number 23V418. The rear lightbar may have microcracks in the outer lens that allow moisture to accumulate, which can result in inoperative or flickering reverse lights. Inoperative or flickering reverse lights may not alert other drivers that the vehicle is reversing, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

This recall may potentially affect 14,843 vehicles. Dealers will inspect and replace the rear lightbar and fasteners as necessary. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were expected to be mailed November 3. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in March 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SB6.

Ford models’ moonroof wind deflector may detach

Ford is recalling certain 2021-2022 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator; 2021-2023 F-150; and 2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle. A detached wind deflector can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 173,853 vehicles. Dealers will inspect and repair the moonroof wind deflector as necessary. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed November 3. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SB7.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models’ improperly reinforced frame member

Daimler Vans USA (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 vehicles. The right longitudinal frame member may not be reinforced properly, decreasing the structural integrity of the third-row seats. Third-row seats with inadequate strength may fail to protect occupants, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

This recall potentially affects 366 vehicles. Dealers will inspect and repair the frame as necessary. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed December 19. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in January 2026. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS3RASCHW.

Tesla Cybertruck models’ off-road light bar may detach and become a road hazard

Tesla is recalling certain 2024 Cybertruck vehicles equipped with a service-installed off-road light bar accessory. An incorrect surface primer may have been used to attach the light bar to the windshield, causing the light bar to loosen and detach. A detached light bar may fall, creating a road hazard for other vehicles and increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 6,197 vehicles. Tesla Service will inspect the light bar and install an additional mechanical attachment or replace the light bar using tape to adhere the light bar to the windshield, as well as an additional mechanical attachment as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 26. Owners may contact Tesla customer service at 877-798-3752. Tesla's number for this recall is SB-25-90-001.
