Ford E-350, 450 models’ engine cover may become excessively hot

Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021 E-350 and E-450 vehicles that received an incomplete software update under recall 20V795. The engine cover may become excessively hot. Direct contact with certain areas of engine cover surface in the passenger compartment may increase the risk of injury or burns to the skin of the driver or front seat passenger.

This recall potentially affects 7,046 vehicles. Dealers will update the powertrain calibration for heat management under elevated idle conditions. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on January 5. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SC7.

Ford models’ loss of vehicle stability control and brake power assist

Ford is recalling certain 2025 Maverick and Escape vehicles. The cover for the electric brake booster's ECU may cause the printed circuit board to overheat and result in a loss of vehicle stability control systems (anti-lock braking, electronic stability control, and traction control) or a loss of brake power assist. Loss of vehicle stability control or brake power assist can increase the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects two vehicles. Dealers will replace the electric brake booster. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed on November 24. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SC6

International LT, RH models’ clogged port may delay or prevent the release of the service brakes

International Motors is recalling certain 2023-2026 LT and 2024-2025 RH trucks. The Hill Start Assist (HSA) exhaust port may become clogged, delaying or preventing the release of the service brakes. Brakes that are still engaged while driving increase the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 1,303 vehicles. Dealers will relocate the HSA valve exhaust. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on January 12. Owners may contact International customer service at 800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25522.

Peterbilt models’ insufficient air volume in brake system

Paccar is recalling certain 2026 Peterbilt 567 and 589 trucks. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems." Insufficient air volume can reduce braking performance and increase the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 62 vehicles. Dealers will install the correct volume air tanks. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on January 16. Owners may contact Peterbilt's customer service at 940-591-4220. Paccar’s number for this recall is 25PACH.
