The new version includes high-end navigation features including ClearTurn realistic display with lane indicator, arrows, and real signpost information for clear guidance at complex intersections and highway exits. Clear, voice-guided turn-by-turn directions combined with the 550’s high-definition 5-inch widescreen touch display and anti-glare finish provide a safe and stress-free driving experience on truck-legal roads. The new device features the ALK MapSure service, which provides automatic downloadable map updates at regular intervals throughout the year and gives drivers the opportunity to report roads or addresses that are missing or need updating for inclusion in a future update.
With the 550, drivers can also create state mileage logs to generate an accurate record for billing and tax calculation.
