TCA, trucking industry highlight military

May 31, 2024
Trucking fleets across the U.S. display military appreciation and support on their tractors and trailers. Here is a photo gallery of truckload carriers' patriotic rigs.

The trucking industry has always been a major supporter of the military, with plenty of drivers and other trucking employees having previously served. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 10% of truck drivers are military veterans, with 1 in 4 veterans being a truck driver. Throughout the year, the industry hosts annual events to honor veterans, such as Wreaths Across America and The Wall that Heals, and this month is no different.

To honor Military Appreciation Month and Memorial Day, the Truckload Carriers Association recently asked its members to send in photos of their trucks and trailers that are designed to support the military. The response from the industry has been overwhelming, and this media gallery will feature a sampling of those photos.
