In May, Trail King announced its acquisition of Dakota Trailer Manufacturing Inc., a manufacturer of Aluminum Grain trailers for the agricultural market. Now, Trail King is announcing its official release of its complete agricultural product offerings.

The company said it has decided upon a select set of products absorbed from Dakota Trailer to be marketed and sold utilizing the Trail King name.

“The company has conducted extensive market research into the brand direction of our expanded agricultural product line,” said Rick Farris, vice president of sales and marketing. “Strategically placed within Trail King’s Materials Hauling Agriculture line, the company says it aims to provide dealers with a unique opportunity to invest in the most comprehensive agricultural hauling solutions backed by a nationally-recognized, high quality trailer manufacturer. The Trail King name offers the strongest brand recognition and performance for our dealers.”

“We firmly believe that by widening Trail King’s brand and agricultural product offerings, we are underlining a commitment to our customers to provide a consistent variety of high-performance trailers,” Ferris added. “We are opening the doors for our customers to expand their bottom line and that’s our definition of success.”

Trail King’s Materials Hauling Agriculture line includes the following:

  • Aluminum Hopper Trailer – Featuring an single panel wall construction and corrosion resistance via the Corsol Metal Treatment, Aluminum Grain Hopper (AHT) trailer sizes range from 22ft. to 52 ft. with specifications offered for U.S. and Canadian markets. Canadian markets also have access to Trail King’s B-Train design.

  • Aluminum Hopper Conveyor Trailer – This trailer offers multi-purpose use and the largest payload in the industry, the company said. Available in 41 ft. or 45 ft. variations, both versions come with up to four compartments. The trailer combines with a 21 in. ground clearance, stainless steel conveyor that is easily removable to operate as a standard grain trailer. Specifications are available for U.S. and Canadian markets.

  • Aluminum Grain Box Trailer – Custom-designed and smaller in size than its counterparts, the Aluminum Grain Box (AGB) trailer achieves “maximum payload, exceptional clean out, and lasting performance,” the company said. Specifications are available for only U.S. markets.

  • Rolled Side Super Hi-Lite Ag Trailer – The trailer hauls feed, seed, fertilizer, and other high-volume products. Specifications are available for U.S. and Canadian markets.
