Networkcar has locked in an agreement to integrate Motorola’s G20 wireless modules with its Networkfleet wireless vehicle management system.

The G20 will provide Networkfleet with increased data transmission rates, enhanced security and broad geographic coverage, Networkcar said.

Networkfleet is compatible with light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles. It gathers data taken from a vehicle’s engine computer and a global positioning system (GPS) and compiles it so fleet managers can monitor location, fuel consumption, mileage, emission status and speed from the internet.
