ALK Expands Routing Software

ALK Technologies Inc., has made a number of improvements to its routing, mapping, and mileage software. The PC*MILER 18 is a North American highway database that combines a variety of information pertinent to commercial and HazMat drivers. ALK Technologies Inc., has made a number of improvements to its routing, mapping, and mileage software. The PC*MILER 18 is a North American highway database that combines a variety of information pertinent to commercial and HazMat drivers.

The software has a list of several new and enhanced features including:

  • Canadian street-level include truck-specific Canadian routing, mileage and mapping

  • 2004 U.S. zip codes and Canadian postal codes

  • state weigh stations as routing points

  • updated HazMat and 53’ 102” trailer routing restrictions

  • updated North American database that includes road openings, name changes, and construction updates

  • enhanced route generation and mapping

  • improved PC*MILER|Connect integration with XML reports and an updated interface
