    to give shippers the ability to create bill of lading documents online and submit pickup requests directly to a local New Penn dispatcher.

    Lebanon, PA-based New Penn said it hopes its new password-protected Internet application will convince shippers to use the electronic process instead and eliminate those phone calls.

    The carrier noted that other new features include a forms library, where customers can print copies of commonly used shipping documents such as a credit application, claims processing form or shippers export declaration.
