NMFTA promotes Marli Hall to director of public relations
The National Motor Freight Traffic Association recently promoted Marli Hall to director of public relations.
"Marli's understanding of the supply chain and her dedication to NMFTA are invaluable," Caroline Lyle, chief marketing officer for NMFTA, said. "She has managed external communications to amplify NMFTA’s voice in the market. In her new role, she will develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that effectively convey our mission across all media platforms.”
Hall’s track record in managing stakeholder relationships and her acumen in public relations have been instrumental in launching campaigns addressing industry issues such as less-than-truckload freight classification updates, digitalization standards, and trucking cybersecurity trends.
"My objective has always been to make a positive impact on the industry that I serve," Hall said. "I am looking forward to communicating with stakeholders on some of the most critical issues we face today.”
Fleet Advantage welcomes Annie Steckroth as VP of strategic fleet solutions
Fleet Advantage recently added Annie Steckroth, CTP, as VP of strategic fleet solutions. With more than 18 years of experience in fleet management and business development, Steckroth previously served as the director of national accounts at asset-light transportation provider RXO and as a national account executive at FleetNet America by Cox Automotive.
In her new position, Steckroth will be responsible for advancing Fleet Advantage’s strategic initiatives and enhancing relationships with private fleet and for-hire carrier clients across the U.S.

Supply Chain Council hires Sarah Wiltfong as chief public policy & advocacy officer
The Supply Chain Council recently hired Sarah Wiltfong as chief public policy and advocacy officer. She officially joins the team on September 3.
“Sarah’s policy experience, breadth of work, and relationships over a career dedicated to public service make her a perfect fit for this role, and we are thrilled to have her on our team,” Supply Chain Council CEO Josh Wood said. “The U.S. supply chain is critical to our economy, national security, and way of life, and to best fight for the policies that will strengthen it, we are building a world-class team with proven experience, subject-matter expertise, and determination to get the job done; Sarah is that leader and will be a huge part of our success.”
In her new role with the Supply Chain Council, Sarah will lead all policy and advocacy initiatives for the organization.
