ATA welcomes new executive director of Moving & Storage Conference
The American Trucking Associations recently announced that Dan Hilton, an alumnus of Capitol Hill and trade associations with experience in government and advocacy, has been selected as the new executive director of ATA’s Moving & Storage Conference.
“Dan has wide-ranging expertise both on and off Capitol Hill. His familiarity with the inner workings of Congress and his proven ability to mobilize coalitions to shape good public policy are invaluable assets that will allow us to advance a pro-mover agenda in the nation’s capital and from coast to coast,” Chris Spear, ATA president and CEO, said. “ATA is fortunate to have an individual of his caliber on our team leading our incredible group of MSC members. His unique skillset will position MSC to build on its record of success and move our industry forward.”
Atlas Energy Solutions appoints Chris Scholla as COO
Atlas Energy Solutions recently announced the appointment of Chris Scholla, the company’s current chief supply chain officer, as chief operating officer.
“Chris has made tremendous contributions to Atlas’s success over his time with our company, including as chief supply chain officer,” John Turner, president and CEO, said. “With his leadership, our organization has made great strides in enhancing profitability and operational efficiency. His innovative spirit and commitment to advancing Atlas’ mission and strategy make him the right person to serve as our chief operating officer.”
Scholla joined the Company in 2017, serving first as VP of supply chain and logistics until his promotion to chief supply chain officer in November 2022. Scholla has been responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations as well as customer service and support. He led the company’s entry into the oilfield logistics market in 2019 and has overseen strategic logistics growth initiatives.

Outpost appoints Josh Neill as president and chief investment officer
Outpost, a network of managed semi-truck parking and fleet yard facilities, recently announced that Josh Neill has joined the company as president and chief investment officer.
Neill brings to Outpost real estate investment and development experience, most recently serving as managing director at Keystone National Group, where he was a founding partner of its real estate development team. His expertise in real estate investment and development will be instrumental in expanding Outpost's nationwide truck yard network and the ongoing deployment of $500 million in capital through its joint venture with GreenPoint Partners.
