Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies announces new leadership team
Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies recently announced a new era of leadership. Since the joint venture began in 2017, the positions of general manager, deputy general manager, and chief financial officer have alternated every few years among representatives from the parent companies.
Effective this month, James Taylor takes over as the general manager, bringing over two decades of experience from the Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems business unit. Taylor most recently served as the executive director of North America commercial and was responsible for leading the sales and service organization, commercial agreements, and strategic customer relationships.
Joining Taylor, Christy Roadknight will assume the role of deputy general manager. Roadknight's journey with Eaton began in 2000 as a product engineer and has since traversed various roles in sales, operations management, and product strategy. She most recently served as global business unit director for fuel emissions and boosting in Eaton’s Mobility Group.
Completing the leadership trio, Genoveva Alba will step into the position of chief financial officer on Dec. 1. Alba began her career at Eaton in 2008, and she has consistently risen through the ranks, currently serving as regional director of finance transformation, Eaton’s Electrical Sector Americas.
“I am confident that James and the new leadership team will continue to deliver powertrain solutions that enhance performance, reliability, and fuel efficiency,” Waldek Gardzielewski, outgoing general manager, said. “I am excited for the future under this dynamic leadership team and look forward to continuing our legacy of excellence.”
