Mack announces key promotions

Mack Trucks has announced a number of changes in its management team, including naming Thomas M. Kelly III to the newly created position of senior vp, product portfolio management and Kevin Flaherty to senior vp, U.S. and Canada

Mack Trucks has announced a number of changes in its management team, including naming Thomas M. Kelly III to the newly created position of senior vp, product portfolio management and Kevin Flaherty to senior vp, U.S. and Canada.

Kelly, previously vp of marketing, will work in product development, planning and specification work done with the engineering, powertrain and manufacturing groups. He joined Mack in 1991 as director of materials management, becoming vp of marketing in 1999.

Flaherty, most recently senior vp of sales, joined Mack in 1973, holding various positions in the sales and marketing departments before being named senior vp of sales in 2001. In his new position, he will be responsible for all Mack sales and marketing activities in the U.S. and Canada.

In addition, the company named Michael McNally vp of sales and Michael Reardon vp of marketing. McNally, who has been with Mack for the past 36 years, has been the northeast regional vp since 1998. Reardon has been with the company for 12 years, most recently serving as vp of new dealer operations.
