Con-way Inc. has launched a program to allow drivers at full-truckload carrier Con-way Truckload and less-than-truckload carrier Con-way Freight to consider positions at their respective sister companies before they are shared with the open market. Candidates who meet eligibility standards would complete the application and hiring process to be considered for employment. The program was started as an attempt to provide synergy between Con-way Truckload — formerly CFI, purchased by Con-way last year — and Con-way Freight, the company said.
